It’s a Family Thing
We both have fond childhood memories of helping our grandparents with their abundant gardens; harvesting tomatoes, cucumbers, squash, and more all throughout the summer. As we set out on our own adventure to do the same for our daughter, to provide her with better quality food than we could find in the grocery store, it became apparent how little information there is on growing food year round in our South Florida climate.
Setting out to grow our own food and overcome the challenges of South Florida conditions, together we experimented in our own back yard. Having success where others had failed, our harvests provided us with about 50% of our produce needs annually in just 250sf of space. We have proven you can have edible abundance in small spaces, in challenging climates, and within neighborhood restrictions.
Combining this knowledge with our innate desire for slow, intentional living, we discovered our lifestyle was more than just a passion. It became our mission. To help others find beauty, abundance, and joy in their lives through the simple act of growing food.

The journey to better food leads you just outside your door.
